Berjaya Hills is a decidedly family-friendly location so you’re not going to find a particularly rousing nightlife scene when the sun goes down. There are a few pubs and clubs that dot its landscape but most of them are located within Colmar Tropicale which means that drinks prices will be steep to say the least. At night most people prefer to take in the sight of the brightly lit Colmar Square or they simply opt to have a long dinner with a bottle of wine.

However if you’re in the mood for a nightcap, then the places listed below will serve as your unofficial guide to this chilly mountainside’s after-dark hotspots. There are really only three places where you can go – La Billard, La Bistro and Le Blason Lounge. All of them serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and feature good and not-too-loud music throughout the night, thus ensuring that you can enjoy your drink while savouring the bistros’ ambience. Le Blason Lounge stands apart from the other two due to the variety of exotic cocktails and assorted beverages served.

La Billard

This lounge with a pool table serves up alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as a limited selection of snacks and titbits. Most of the tables are angled so that you can watch the happenings on the cobblestone Colmar Square which includes street performances by clowns.

La Bistro

This bistro serves up alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with light snacks as well as appetizers. It’s not as glitzy as La Billiard or as swanky as La Blason Lounge, but this nightspot has a definite homey pub-like feel to it with high chairs beside the bar and flat screens TVs that broadcast football.

Le Blason Lounge

Serving up a variety of exotic cocktails and beverages, this lounge also has Malaysian and international food specialties. The restaurant draws in a crowd most nights, so the place seems to be a favourite eatery – make sure you arrive early to snag a table.
