Tioman Island is a divers paradise. The entire island has been gazetted as a marine park, preserving the beauty of its natural scenery and marine life. This has made Tioman a much-sought after destination for divers and marine enthusiasts from all around the world who come to appreciate its ecological wonders.
There are a total of 15 dive sites around Tioman that teem with colourful soft and hard corals, beautiful reef fishes, crustaceans, turtles and interesting rock formations. At any of these sites, divers can indulge in their passion of underwater discovery.
The more popular dives sites are found around Renggis Island, Sepoi Island, Golden Reef, Tiger Reef, Tulai Island, Genting Bay, Malang Rock, Chebeh Island, Labas Island and Bahara Rock.
The PADI Dive Centre provides lessons and courses to ground beginner divers as well as specialised programmes for advanced learners. The courses are divided into those for novices, Open Water Diver Courses, Junior Open Water Diver Courses for children, Advance Open Water Diver Courses, Day and Night Dive Trips as well as Refresher Sessions for advanced divers.
