Cameron Highlands Nightlife

Cameron Highlands isn’t a hotspot with spectacularly bright lights and wild nightlife action but it’s got a wholesome family-friendly vibe. Most people come here to enjoy its myriad of daytime activities, namely hiking and camping, which means that come sundown, when pubs and clubs usually open, people are too tired to frequent them.

So in a nutshell, the Highlands – Malaysia’s most extensive hill station – may not feature a great deal of after-hours activities, but it’s got its own brand of night time fun. Once the sun goes down you’ll see the numerous restaurants scattered across its landscape packed to the tee with diners, as most people enjoy the mountain-top getaway’s cool climate while savouring a meal and nursing a pint – be sure to try the local brew when you’re in town.

Jungle Bar & Restaurant Cameron Highlands

Located within a backpackers’ inn –Daniel’s Lodge – this pub is a dimly-lit venture which serves up a decent selection of drinks. The bar isn’t easy to locate, especially since there is no signage to guide you, but try asking around and locals are sure to point you in the right direction.

Rose Dale Bistro

This tiny bistro isn’t an extravagant affair yet it’s pretty popular with travellers. With a menu spanning across Chinese, Indian, Malay and European cuisines, the café also serves up a respectable coffee selection.

Singalot
